The Travel Diaries | Noosa- Whitsunday Islands

NOOSA
Friday 4th February- Sunday 6th February 2016

Having spent the day at Australia Zoo we didn't arrive in Noosa until 7pm. Getting to our hostel turned out to be a total palaver as James took us to the wrong hostel; he thought we were staying at Nomads but we were actually staying at Noosa Backpackers. This meant that having already had a five minute walk from the coach station to Nomads, we then had a long walk up a really steep hill with our heavy backpacks to then get a bus, before we eventually made it to the right place. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed! However we did have a private room to ourselves hostel so that kind of made up for it!

Bath & Body Works Revisited

Bath & Body Works Body Cream
When it comes to my favourite body creams hands down Bath & Body Works wins every time. With a sweet array of fragrances that can take you from sipping cocktails on a beach, to walking through a forest of a fresh flowers or even curled in front of a log fire on a winters evening, they really are the definition of heaven in a bottle. After being introduced to the brand a good few years ago I have always been a loyal customer. The only slight issue is that I live in the UK... and being an American company, Bath & Body Works isn't particularly local. This proves quite a problem when I run out and have to travel 4000+ miles just to repurchase. Lucky for me I tend to go to the states every year so it's always a very good chance to stock up! Last year I wrote a post featuring my favourite Bath & Body Work lotions and this year I have four more that I've tried and tested.

Porcelain Skin with Vichy Dermablend

Vichy Dermablend
Whenever I think of porcelain skin I always think of a china doll. A velvety smooth, blemish- free complexion; something that has always seemed to be completely unobtainable. That was until I was introduced to the Vichy Dermablend range and I finally achieved that porcelain skin look that I'd previously only ever dreamt of.

The Travel Diaries | Sydney to Brisbane

SYDNEY
Monday 25th January- Thursday 28th January 2016
The flight to Sydney took off from Perth at 11pm on Sunday and landed at 6.30am the following morning, however due to the 3 hour time difference it was actually 3.30am to us and we barely had any sleep on the plane so tired was an understatement. By the time we got to the hostel it was about 8am but check in wasn't until 2pm so all we could do was dump our bags and then try to kill time. Unfortunately the weather was very overcast and we were too tired to properly appreciate Sydney, so even a walk to Sydney Opera House couldn't lift ours mood- in fact we were so miserable that at the time we didn't even think it looked anything that spectacular!  Having had ten lovely days in Perth with the luxury of staying with James' family, the reality of being on our own across the other side of the world along with staying in hostels for the next three months really hit home that day and I especially, was feeling very homesick.

Lancome Energie De Vie Liquid Moisturiser | £28
I first heard about the the new Energie De Vie range by Suzanne Jackson at So Sue Me and I've been intrigued ever since. I've begun considering my skincare regime a lot more seriously recently have noticed a huge difference in my skin so I'm desperate to keep it up. This range sounds to be so beautifully fresh, reviving dull skin and ensuring that it's kept hydrated. The perfect base to flawless looking skin!

The Perfect Lipstick Duo

Rimmel Maybelline Lipstick
Do you have that favourite lip colour that you've fallen in love with and constantly wear over and over again?  For me that colour is red-brown; a flattering shade that never fails to look glamorous. I've found my love affair with the perfect duo consisting of Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte Lipstick in 657 Nude Nuance and Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 045 Epic. Two products that work so beautifully they feel like high-end, yet don't have the hefty price tag to  match; a notion that is always a winner in my eyes.

Do You Have a Bra-blem?

Bras
Bras. As a woman you pretty much have to wear one, and often they're a right pain- in all senses of the word. I'm always unsure what size to get as most shops vary in size and when I do  manage to find one that fits I still struggle with finding one that sits comfortably. Recently I discovered ThirdLove, an American underwear company who specialise in designing bras that fit properly and leave you feeling comfortable all day long, and it's got me thinking, what's my bra-blem?

The Travel Diaries | Perth

Wednesday 13th January- Sunday 24th January 2016

After two plane journeys and twenty something hours later we finally made it to Perth! James' auntie and cousins came to collect us from the airport and our trip  had officially begun.  Despite feeling very disoriented with the time difference- we left on 13th Jan at 2:15pm UK time and arrived on 14th Jan at 6:30pm Perth time-we were so excited to be greeted by 32 degree heat; a huge difference to the 2 degrees that we left back in the UK!

First Ever Charlotte Tilbury Products

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Products
Charlotte Tilbury is a well renowned makeup artist. From her A-List celebrity clients to her very own beauty range, she's achieved things that many of us can only dream of. I'm almost certain that I'm not alone in saying that I was super excited when I heard that she was bringing out her beauty brand back in 2013 and in true CT style, her products allude to the word 'luxe'. Each and every product has been really well considered in order to develop a formula that she is confident will work to enhance every woman's natural beauty and the packaging to go alongside is so beautifully lavish. Charlotte knows that every girl loves a bit of rose gold!

20 Makeup Tips For The Beauty Novice

I love makeup. I run a beauty blog so my love for a mascara or the latest foundation is pretty obvious and I'm constantly experimenting with new methods of application so that my makeup looks fresher and lasts for longer. I often forget that not everyone is as obsessed by makeup as I am and some people really struggle with knowing the right products to use and how to apply them. As I'm constantly being asked for advice and tips I've put together a small list to answer the questions that I get asked the most often.

It's Been A While Bloggers...

Travelling
My last post was published in January and we're now into April. That's three whole months that I've disappeared for! The reason is that I've been off having the most incredible time travelling the other side of the world in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Hong Kong. Before I left I had intended to continue blogging whilst on my travels and even do a blog diary of what I got up to whilst I was away. That plan failed pretty swiftly, partly due to ever finding free and efficient wifi being very few and far between, but mainly due to being so busy enjoying everything that the travelling lifestyle has to offer that I struggled to find the time. I wanted to get everything I could out of my time away and blogging became the least of my priorities.

Best Brush For... Defined Eyebrows

I'm back with my second installment of my 'Best Brush For' series and this time I'm discussing defined brows. I currently use Sleek's Brow Kit to fill in my brows which comes with a little mini brush. This is perfect if you're wanting to top up your brows on the go, however not so perfect for everyday use. When I first started using this kit, the mini brush was the only one that I used however after sometime I decided to purchase the Zoeva 317 Wing Liner Brush which is normal sized- and the difference is incredible!

What I Got For Christmas

The Christmas festivies have sadly all come to an end but I'm so excited to read about all the lovely new gifts that everyone has received, no doubt my wishlist will be extended even more over the next few weeks! I was really lucky and was given so many  lovely items that I couldn't wait to talk about. I'll be doing more of an in-depth review of some of the products  but for now here's a little sneak peak of just a few of my favourites!
